Elland Steel are providing steelwork for levels 11 to roof for this 15 storey building which is the next stage of the Wood Wharf development. The lower ten floors of the building are constructed using a concrete frame from which the steelwork provided by Elland is to be supported.

A 195,000ft2, 12 storey building located at the corner of Handyside Street and Canal Reach in the Kings Cross area of London. It features 11 floors of Grade A office space, with the ground floor being retail space. The building features several expansive balconies and a roof-top landscaped garden. As much of the steel frame is to remain visible once complete careful considerations had to be made in the connection designs to ensure that they are aesthetically appealing.

Located on the Esplanade in St Helier this 59,000ft2 storey office building is a beam and column to basement construction. Elland Steel are providing the structural steelwork, metal deck floor and pre-cast concrete stairs.

A 9 storey, 166,000ft2 Grade A office building with roof terrace located in the Greengate area of Salford, alongside its sister building, 101 Embankment. The building is constructed off a steel framed transfer slab above a car park which remained open during construction. The building has a metal deck floor and uses long span cellular floor beams to reduce the number of columns required, increasing the useable office space.

Elland Steel provided the structual steelwork and metal decking for this new 14 storey building forming part of the first phase of commercial buildings on the Wood Wharf development in London.

A new five-storey steel framed structure to accommodate exclusive guest rooms restaurants and leisure space. Elland Steel fabricated, supplied and installed 400t of weathering steel for the lower deck level which is sat on a series of existing piles over a portion of Middle Dock in Londonís Canary Wharf, as well as an additional 1,200t of steelwork for the main structure.

This unique contract posed a number of challenges, such as the need to use a temporary bracing strategy to limit the amount of loading applied to the piles, and the use of floating pontoons to enable access for workers and machinery during erection.

Elland Steel provided the metal decking and stairs along with fabricating, supplying and erecting the steel frame for this 18,000 sq ft office and retail building. Built on a basement slab which is the tunnel soffit of both the Metropolitan London Underground Line and the Moorgate National Rail Line close to Kingís Cross Station.

The confined nature of this central London site along with its location over active rail lines required careful planning to ensure that steelwork was delivered to site and erected on anti-vibration bearings whilst keeping disruption to a minimum.

This 650,000 ft2 grade A office has been prelet to the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority). This is the 2nd office of the 12 to be constructed over a 10 year period adjacent to the 2012 Olympic Park.
