The Brief

Heathside School is a multi-storey beam and column structure that will welcome 900 pupils aged between 11 and 16 from Walton and Molesey.  

The development includes two main conjoined three-storey teaching blocks and a sports hall. The upper floors are formed with steel beams supporting 5,400m2 precast planks. 

Our Approach

 
  • Specialised structural designs and elements were created to accommodate the nature of the use of the building after construction.
  • As the site was situated near busy main roads, we carefully planned our deliveries. 
  • We handled the supply and installation of multiple features of the structural package, working with both sub-contractors as well as engineers to safely manage elements, such as pre-cast stairs and floors.

The Outcomes

We asked for feedback for our collaboration at various stages of this project. This began when the client was asked to rate our commercial performance for factors such as tender documentation, financial management and working relationship.

 

 

We were given excellent feedback, especially for our technical and commercial performance. Plus, we gained an outstanding Net Promoter Score of 90 from our client for this project.
