The Brief

One City Park development will be an energy-efficient 5-storey office development with a curved facade.

The £35m high-spec development will set the new standard for Grade A offices in Bradford. It’s situated close to major transport infrastructure, in the heart of the city, overlooking the Mirror Pool.

Our Approach

Specialised structural designs and elements were created to accommodate the nature of the use of the building after construction.
As the site was situated near busy main roads in Bradford City centre, we carefully planned our
deliveries.
We handled the supply and installation of multiple features of the structural package, working with both sub-contractors as well as engineers to safely manage elements such as metal decking.
Our technical team worked closely with Northern Steel Decking with regard to the set-out and detailing of the steel decking along with the supporting steelwork. The structure does not have any straight edges to its perimeter, and the design required unusually high edge trims.
Off-site intumescent coatings.
Cellular beams were utilised to increase useable office space.
