The Trilogy Apartments


The Brief

The Trilogy is a striking new development which Graham Construction would undertake. It consists of 232 Build-to-Rent apartments, designed and constructed to the highest standards. 

The Trilogy development spans 15,500m² and features a mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments in the heart of Castlefield. We provided and erected the structural package for all three buildings; two nine-storey buildings and one twelve-storey with a central hub and landscaped courtyard area.

Our Approach

  • Given the proximity to the centre of Manchester, logistics would be a major constraint when delivering this project. 
  • As the site is located by roads on two edges next to one of the busiest arteries into the city. So transporting over 1,000 tonnes of steelwork would never be easy.
  • Especially when the projects require 80+ loads on site with columns as long as 16 metres. So expert co-ordination and communication with site and our logistical team was imperative.
  • Deliveries to the Trilogy construction site had to be taken via a narrow one-way street and offloaded with tower cranes, which required meticulous planning as well as strict execution of the site programme.
