Something to declare New 12 level steel office building takes shape in Liverpool

Elland Steel Structures Ltd working under a 'Supply Chain Agreement' are currently supplying, erecting and installing 1,150 tonnes of structural steelwork, 18,000m2 of profiled metal decking and the precast staircases at the Old Hall site in Liverpool.

The proposed offices are part of the redevelopment of the former St. Paul's Eye Hospital site in Liverpool. The high specification office building on the site comprises twelve levels of steelwork acting compositely with the floor slabs. The anchor tenant for the development is the Home Office (UK Passport Services) with the remainder of the floor areas being operated in partnership between Beetham & Regus, providing serviced office facilities.

The remaining two developments on the site include a five star Radisson hotel and 28 storey residential tower with health club below, which is believed to be one of the tallest buildings in Liverpool.
