    Five-storey Research Facility For The University of Manchester
    AMPPS - Astronomy, Mathematics, Physics and Photon Sciences.
    Approx 750 tonnes and 10,000m2 precast floors.

  • East Street Leeds
    New Development on the outskirts of the city centre erecting "city living" apartments.
    Approx 310 tonnes.


  • ASDA - ELLESMERE Port
    New Superstore. Approx 700 tonnes to be erected in five weeks, commencing February / March 2006.


  • Sommerfield - Nottingham
    New Supermarket commencing on site February 2006.


  • Fargate - Sheffield
    City Centre Department Store comprising five floors located in the city centre erected with a tower crane, continued site and restricted access.


  • Birmingham Hospitals BNHJV
    The second largest construction Scheme in the UK after Heathrow, to be built over a five year period.

  • Elland employ "OFF-LOAD SAFE" handling system.


  • The objective of employing "Off-load safe" in conjunction with this recommended procedure is to minimise the risk of injury during the unloading of steelwork from a standard trailer. This task can and has to be done in a number of ways depending on the location, space available, ground conditions and the make up of the load requiring removal.

  • Elland Board Sanction £2.5 million investment programme


  • The company plans a £2.5 million investment programme over the next 12 months.
    The total investment will go into the reorganisation of our production processes with the introduction of the most technologically advanced plant and equipment including shotblasting processes.
    Programming of these works can now start in earnest and our aim is to be fully operational by the end of 2006.
    The investment programme is the start of a 10 year business plan to ensure Elland maintain its strong position in the structural steelwork field and achieve continuous improved performance in all aspects of the business to benefit our clients.
