A 158 bedroom four-star hotel which will include executive suites and a fitness centre and when complete will be one of Sheffield’s largest hotels. The seven-storey structure is located in the stadium’s car park which is in use all week, deliveries to site and plant equipment movements had to be completely coordinated and the steel erection was done within the building footprint. As the steel was erected the available space for the mobile crane and steel storage progressively got smaller. The main façade was also erected from within the building footprint as Bramall Lane is a busy major traffic route.
